Project Conserve

Project Details

1. The project aims to spread environmental awareness among the masses.
2. A team of 40 quality AIESEC interns will come down to our city and work on the issues concerning the environment.
3. 'Conserve' is a six week long project.
4. It's execution will be done in the following three phases.

Phase One

Project Conserve-Phase 1

1. In this phase the interns will get deeper insights in the field of environment and its conservation.
2. The interns will work with top NGOs of the city working on the issues concerning the environment.
3. This phase will last for one month.
Phase Two

Project Conserve-Phase 2

1. The interns will deliver environment awareness seminars in the best schools of our city .
2. Seminars will include audio visual aids, power point presentations, inclusive activities, slogan writing , painting competitions etc.
3. The messages will be delivered to the students in an engaging and enjoyable manner.
Phase Three

Project Conserve-Phase 3

1. This is the most exciting and adventurous phase of the project.
2. The interns will be taken to different National parks and sanctuaries in Gujarat to acquaint them with the rich biodiversity of our country.
3. Proposed sites :Indroda Park & Nal sarovar bird sanctuary.

Events

1. Curtain Raiser: The opening press conference will be a curtain raiser to the project conserve initiated by AIESEC Ahmedabad. Introduction of the project, execution flow, impact generation and partnership launch will be the highlight of this conference. It will be a congregation of all our clients, partners, sponsors, interns AIESECers, media etc.
2. Plantation Drive: A huge tree plantation drive will be carried out in the city which will aim to sow saplings of across the city to build a cleaner and greener Ahmedabad.
3. Turn Off the Gas: The interns working in the project will split into groups and will urge the people of our city to turn off their vehicles while waiting at traffic signals.It will aim to make the people of the city aware about carbon emissions and global warming and its negative impact on planet Earth.
3. Cycle Rally: A cycle rally will be organised in the city which will encourage Amdavadis to use greener means of transport and act sustainably to preserve our precious environment.The rally will focus on inclusion of the masses to generate a greater impact.
3. Closing Ceremony: In the closing conference, the project execution report and its output will be showcased. Experience sharing by the AIESEC interns, event partners and AIESECers will be highlighted. The event will be attended by all our clients, partners, NGOs and all other stakeholders.
